a River Runs

the depth of her soul
shone thru her eyes
transfixed
by that unblinking stare
boundaries of space and time
dissolved
and she took me
down by the river
submerged
we walked on its sandy bottom
its waters flowed thru us
carrying us out into space
beyond galaxies
and we were dissolved
back into the primal mix
one, again
